When I decided to get sober, I needed to replace alcohol with something that truly served my life in a healthy way. Learning how to cook was a major life changer for me. I’m not a chef, but boy do I love learning a new recipe... and honestly most of the time it’s something I’ll come up with in my head, then try to create it successfully without burning the house down.

Thanks to my wife and mom for trying all of my crazy meals over the last 9 months. Also, big shout out to Mrs. Judd (my best friend Charlie’s mom) for the gift of my “Chef Josh” coat. I’ll wear it with pride.

Sobriety isn’t losing something... it’s gaining everything else.
