Since the Mambas were deployed, snare poaching has dropped by over 90% in the first year, and continues on that trend. Apart from this, Mambas have been primarily responsible for the detection of approximately 70% of incursions through the boundaries in their areas of deployment. There have been 9 poachers camps found and destroyed and recently, arrests made of well-known poachers.
