The next page I like to create in a new year/new journal set up is a Key page and a Yearly Calendar.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ The Key page helps me remember how I organize important information, and the calendar helps me to stay on track with dates when creating future spreads.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ To create the pages you will be seeing this week, I used the Gelly Roll pens by Sakura. These pens are like magic on black paper and just as wonderful on white paper and craft paper journals! If you are using a blackout journal like mine, remember to use the Gelly Roll Moonlight collections, Stardust collection, and Souffle collection. These pens stand out and give a nice POP off the pages!⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Tip: To fill in large spaces like the white on this whale, use small even strokes filling in the large space in sections.
