Two thoughts. 1. He’s right. 2. He doesn’t have any kids, toddlers, babies with him or probably not waiting in the car. And I’m guessing there aren’t any kids waiting to be picked up from school or practice or calling him nonstop.

Not excusing the act of not returning a cart, but also saying, there have been times where the safety of my kids was pressing and I didn’t get the cart back. Not gonna feel bad about it. We don’t know what we don’t know.
