I rehabbed with everything I had, just to fall down even harder. I had surgery to repair my right knee and both shoulders. It felt like the world was falling apart in so many ways. AND...it’s been one of my best years ever. I’ve learned so much about myself and the world- the good and bad- and how i can create positive change in both. I’ve taken on classes and projects that I’ve been wanting to do for years. I’ve rediscovered my creativity and joy of studying, deepened friendships, and most importantly, gotten really good at finding to good in tough situations. The challenges make us stronger.
