2020: a year of changes, building stronger relationships (with those around me & myself), trying new things, and lots of sweat pants (& needles!).
You taught me to slow down. To be more quiet and to really listen, reflect, and learn.
That some things are out of our control no matter how bad we want them. And with that to be grateful. Focus on what I have and appreciate the simple things/moments. I look at things differently now from the flowers when I’m getting fresh air outside to the sight of some good leftovers in the fridge when I succeeded at a recipe. You forced me to discover what actually is essential to my happiness. To really pay attention to the habits, routines, thoughts, and people that energize me.
You pushed me to be more disciplined, creative, and to find balance where I am. You brought me even closer to my partner @elbowsan_xx
Although I hated going through it, I am grateful for this new version of me and will take what I learned from this year and apply it in 2021.
I hope you can find at least one positive thing to take forward with you too.
2020- you are one to remember but I’m glad you’re over. Wishing next year is a easier, happier, healthier, more free one for everyone ❤️
