First one back after 5 days off eating crap and man did I feel it! 🤮 Eating rubbish and doing nothing feels good for about a day for me. After 5 days I’ve started to have the headaches, feeling sluggish, sleeping not so great and even breakouts of spots. We’re all different but my body responds quickly when I don’t fuel it right. It’s telling me “Gem, Stop feeding me shite please, I can’t function properly!” Obviously it was Christmas so the cupboards and worktops are filled with stuff we don’t normally buy in and it was nice to have the time to eat, drink and be Merry! But mentally I feel a bit blurgh... I need some vegetables, some water and a good sweat. Back to the grind! Back to feeling my best self! I knew today’s session would be hard, yours probably will be too, but don’t be put off! See it as a new start point, a new challenge and a way to take care of yourself again. Your health really is your wealth❤️
