Let us know which one you’d like to do more in the comments and we’ll make sure to do an in depth Canada Spotlight on that experience. We plan on doing our in depth showcase on the ones you chose in the new year, so get ready!⠀ ⠀ 🌊 At the edge of the Pacific Ocean on Vancouver Island’s west coast you’ll find unparalleled access to one of winter’s most exhilarating winter experiences, storm watching. Seeking relaxation? Watch waves crash along rocky bluffs and beaches from the comfort of the region's elegant oceanside resorts. If you want to get outside you’ll be pleased to find that the west coast has comparatively mild winter temperatures due it’s close proximity to the ocean.⠀ ⠀ Pro tip: While storm watching is an amazing sightseeing opportunity it’s important stay safe and always view from a distance. One of the best places to view storms is along the @wildpacifictrail and the best months to view are between November and April. ⠀ ⠀ 🌟One of the most enchanting ways to take in the winter season in Canada is by viewing some of the winter lights festivals. Across Canada these festivals set up dazzling light displays that shine brightly in the night with many displays taking the shape of Canadian icons like moose and maple leafs. ⠀ ⠀ Pro tip: While this year may be different there are still various winter lights festivals on display across the country that you can view on foot and sometimes by car!⠀ ⠀ #ExploreCanada #CanadaNice⠀ ⠀ *Know before you go!
