I was in a fog for so long because I was in a marriage that was destroying me & that meant that some of the friends I made along the way weren’t the healthiest for me. When the fog started to lift, I looked around me & realized that so many people I loved didn’t have my best interests in mind. It’s been really eye-opening who has made it to the end of 2020 with me, those are the people that have truly committed to changing themselves for the better, because they know that growth isn’t just for you, it’s for everyone around you. I finally realize that I couldn’t keep doing the same things and expecting a different reaction. This year has been so challenging, but the blessings haven’t gone unnoticed. Remember: No one that truly loves you would never ask you to sacrifice parts of yourself that are detrimental to your mental health to be deserving of their love.
