As a community within a larger community, this open and honest discussion aims to explore the future role of black people in creative industries. As a community what is our local and global vision? What images and creative spaces do we want to create for ourselves and the world? The discussion is from different perspectives: Paris based fashion journalist and critic Pierre M’Pele, London based Charlene Prempeh who has worked in Art and is now in Media and Technology, designer Adebayo Oke-Lawal who is based in Lagos, Nigeria and myself Willy Ndatira, London based creative consultant, writer, and editor.
