Hanukah is over but I wanted to post a few of my favorite photos taken over the eight nights. The first photo was a day Mike made us dress up and cooked a whole fancy meal. He wore a tux for the occasion. If you haven’t seen your husband wash the dishes in a tux, I highly recommend it. Quite the Hanukah gift! Next you’ll see our family’s virtual menorah lighting party. Not one but two people almost caught on fire on the call! Uncle Mikey got his hair singed and Harlow burned the plastic bag holding her Hamilton stickers when she tried to show everyone her gift. As for the presents... Mazzy’s Among Us plushies, mini food clay kits and custom Frankie pillow were the big winners. For Harlow, it was her Hamilton t-shirt, the Strong Girls edition of Ordinary People Who Change the World, and her @kamalaharris doll. I gotta say- two big pluses about Hanukkah is that you know exactly how many presents you need to give and mom gets all the credit. 👍🏻 Noticeably missing from this album is Harlow dancing to “Puppy for Hanukah” while MAZZY rolls her eyes. I gotta make a reel of that or something! All in all, a fabulous holiday. And it’s weird, but this is the first year that my girls have made it clear that they prefer Hanukah to Christmas. I think they understand that this is the holiday that’s really ours. 🕎🎁🎉
