For our October 2020 issue, we caught up with Tbilisi-born interior designer Eka Papamichael at her historic Art Nouveau apartment, which she restored with her husband, @フェドン・パパマイケル. The home came to the couple’s attention in 2016 by a friend who was originally interested in buying it (and eventually decided against it), but, as Papamichael describes the home, it was "in very bad shape, having been neglected and vandalized over the years.” Click the link in bio for the full interview, and to see how the duo restored the space. In the office, the desk and chair are vintage, the circa-1960s armchair is Soviet, the original mantel holds artwork by Karlo Kacharava, the vintage poster is of a 1961 movie by @jean_luc_godard_film, "A Woman Is a Woman," and the artwork on the desk is by Eka Papamichael and Kacharava.
