Harlow is performing in her first school play today! She is the duck in Peter and the Wolf. It will be filmed in class with a green screen, incorporating both the in-person kids and the virtual kids through some kind of technical wizardry, and then shown to the parents online after the fact. I don’t know much about the story, except that Harlow gets eaten by the wolf at some point. She’s also got the last line— she screams “I’m alive!” from inside the wolf’s belly. I’ll be curious to see how they block that scene with proper social distancing! 2020 is WiLD. It is a true testament to her teachers that Harlow views this whole experience as nothing but exciting and new. Break a duck leg, Harlow! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
