Thinking less, feeling more, staying connected. Shooting Skin Deep allowed me to connect with nature in the most pure and natural of ways; reminding me of that to which I belong, what I am made of and what I am a part of. The locations we shot at are some of my favourite in the world. Hawaii, Fiji, East Coast Australia … but a couple in particular, North West and South West WA, I am most fond of. I grew up in Western Australia and have a strong connection with the coastal areas and their very special landscapes. The regions have shaped me into the person and surfer I am today. I like to think I embody certain elements synonymous with those environments; a bit rugged, a bit wild, raw and true.
