Back when I competed the thing I loved most about who I was as an athlete was that I was RESILIENT. It didn’t matter where I ended up in the short, I was going to come back fighting. I’ve been thinking about resilience a lot lately. As I move further and further out of skating, I start to feel less connected to what makes me “me”. The thing about resilience though, is that it looks different every time you need to lean on it, but it is always there, you just have to be willing to see how you can adapt. Spending these months adapting and learning that my resilience didn’t go anywhere, she just wears cuter clothes now ❤️
