I got to give a special someone in my life a MADEover and I chose my friend @cye.bng who has helped me so much throughout the years in my creative work but mostly while I was in the darkest moments of my depression. I don't share as much about my mental health as I used to but if you've been around for some time you know the struggle was really real. I remember one day we were sitting in the subway and he asked me what do you want to do with your life and I was so lost at that time and felt like crying because I had no clue. That question has always been at the back of my mind and without the many conversations we've had and his constant support I probably would never have started doing what I'm doing right now. I truly still feel like crying while typing that moment out. Thinking about that time is still so painful but in a way these emotions are also positive because I've come along way and am so grateful to still be here today and to be able to thank him for all that he's done for me.
