Helpful with poles 💛 and @moosechaga 🐶 I did this hike in Aspen days before my second set of surgeries, 12 weeks after my first. I’m at that exact point now and while the cold makes things more stiff (I have 6 6” stainless steel screws through my pelvis bone 🦴) I am really grateful to know that I won’t be going back in for any more open hip surgeries (knock on wood?!) this time around. Progression feels slow but every week I can notice new things that I can do that I couldn’t days before- like now, walking without a limp (95%). All up from here, time to grind!!!
