You don’t realize just how much you are craving live performances until you and 5 friends are invited to a very private, magnificent original interpretation of a holiday classic ballet, The Nutcracker. And this is why I love New York. The magic and talent is boundless. And yes, that’s a gorgeous Calder hanging in the background. #artonart

This original work was created for, and filmed at Sotheby’s by brilliant NY City Ballet choreographer Peter Walker (@peteraltubewalker )

The interpretation was set to a modernized arrangement of the “Waltz of the Flowers” from The Nutcracker and performed by the gifted NYCB soloist Sebastien Villarini- Velez (@the_vinyl_seb ) and brilliant & divine Corps ballet member India Bradley (@indiabradleyy )
