That was a time when Republicans were fiscal conservatives who wanted a smaller governmental footprint. They were anti-facism, anti-communism and believed in something other than power at all costs. • • Trickle down economics never trickled down and by the 90s I was fully in the Dems party. But there was a time when the GOP meant something other than hate, fascism, intolerance, court stacking & protecting the wealthiest among us. Now, it’s a dumpster fire. They need to re-group and start building their party back together. Because Trumpers are not Republicans. Ronald Reagan, an icon to the conservative movement, is rolling over, as they say. Fmr President G. W.
