It’s the only guitar I ever played over the past 20 years whether I am playing on a street corner, at home in my living room, in the studio, or on a festival stage in front of 20,000 people. When I was given her by @matonguitars on a tour of Australia, I named her after my grandma in hopes that she would provide the same wisdom, joy, smiles and comfort that my grandma showed everyone she met. So far she’s never let me down, even through multiple breaks and repairs. While in Bali the past nine months, grandma brown needed some repairs so I took her to see Balinese carving master @wayantuges at @blueberryguitars and while there I realized I needed to get a backup for mama Brown in case she ever broke a string during my livestream concerts (which happens often). So Wayan took some photos of my hummingbird tattoos which are emblems of @saraagahfranti and I and incorporated Ganesh, the elephant baby god who is the remover of obstacles in Hindu philosophy.
