His path started off bumpy at just 18 years old when he was staring at a potential prison sentence... Today, Brandon is the Founder & CEO of Edwins Leadership and Restaurant Institute in Cleveland, OH, which provides training in culinary arts and hospitality, assistance with finding employment, and access to free housing, basic medical care, clothing, job coaching, and literacy programs both for former inmates. In this episode we discuss incarceration, the “turn around” stories Chrostowski witnessed first-hand and, and how his mission has evolved. Edwins has seen graduates off to great success. Some now work at three-star Michelin restaurants, two have received medals in American Culinary Federation competitions, and in all - zero recidivism.
