I know there are people who can’t wait to come back through our doors. My phone has been pinging with messages, asking where I’ll be when the store reopens. People want to come and say hi or have a chit chat. You’ll see me on Duke Street doing my thing out there, welcoming our customers from far and wide. I’ve really missed seeing all of our customers from both our local and international community. The ones with their curlers in, coming to get their make-up done because they’re going out on the razz. All the cool kids... It’s everybody. It really is everybody. I love meeting them all and finding out more about the people who we cross paths with. I don’t have the luxury of looking at a name badge when I’m talking to someone, whereas they have, they see that I’m Nick, but it is my honour to find that out and have a real good conversation with them. And so the next time they do come in, looking for perfume, cologne or whatever it may be, they’ll look out for that person and I think that’s what I enjoy the most.
