As an event planner, I feel like I've been on time out all year long. It's been hard, and I know many reading can relate in one way or another. But the holidays are upon us and we all need a LOT MORE JOY. I hope my posts will inspire you to get festive and celebrate - despite the many obstacles we've faced this year. Sure - you may be celebrating the holidays in a much smaller and distant way - but don't let that steal the joy of this season. Make something beautiful...even if it is just for yourself. As my final post before signing out, here are three more tips for your holidays at home. 1 - taper candles + bud vases are an easy way to look fancy without trying. I’m simple eucalyptus in the bud vases can bring on a great scent. 2 - get a little adventurous with your charcuterie spread - incorporate new jams or dips. I added green bean chips, okra chips, dried cherries, fig jam, lemon tzatziki, chocolate covered cranberries, and yogurt colored pretzels to my winter charcuterie board 3 - Try matching your table decor with some of the more vibrant colors on your menu.
