We ❤️ a 💫 night! But this is no galaxy view — it’s just been made to look like one. Inspired by images from the Hubble Telescope, photographer Fabian Oefner swung a fiberglass lamp in a pitch-black room, took long-exposure photos and then layered them to create this image. The striking results evoke beautiful nebulae and star clusters. “What I am trying to do as a photographer, as an artist, is to bring the world of art and science together,” explains Oefner.
