Amongst so many downright disgusting and morally bankrupt things this government are doing , the deportation of people who have committed a crime as well as having served their sentence , to countries such as Jamaica , is simply barbaric !
They are trying to deport is a 22 year old autistic man , Osime Brown , who has no support system in Jamaica and no close family there that understand his needs . His mother fears he will die there . His crime ..... he was with someone who stole a mobile phone !!!! Can you imagine if this was your child ?!!
I often wonder how Boris Johnson and his government sleep at night , how they can be so at ease with this inhumane cruelty to other people . I have realised that they can do this because they cannot ever imagine it would happen to them and in the way all atrocities are committed they see poor Black people as inferior to them.
How else could you morally justify to yourself sending people who have been here all their lives back to a country where they have nothing .
We live in the modern totally interconnected world but this government behave as if we are still in the 19th century, as if there will be no repercussions of sending people away from these shores against their will , as If we still have penal colonies across in distant lands that have no effect on us . Our prison system is still based on punishment and not rehabilitation , this is a failed way system and therefore there is no hope of ever having a better society that deals with all its members as if they were equal. They believe they can just get rid of any problem by sweeping away where it can’t be seen, as if they were just dirt . How much longer can they keep on fooling themselves that a problem no one sees will just go away ? It’s the childish way to behave and to be honest it’s the danger of having an absolute clown in charge . We desperately need a change in political thinking in this country.

These are real people whose lives are being torn appart and ruined often for petty crimes and that for which they have ' paid ' their price in serving their sentence.
We deserve a proper government not clowns and racists .
