Though seeming to be shot on location, the 24 minute single channel video projection is actually composed of an artificially rendered landscape. In this hellish scenery there lies a real and confronting element of truth, the deterioration of the natural world and a scary reflection of the forest fires that have devastated large swathes of the Earth this year. “Wildfire (meditation on fire)" is a dramatic and important piece of art, one which begs for global change.
