The late artist who spent much of his career based in Amsterdam is consecrated at the Stedelijk museum with his largest ever retrospective. whilst much of Ulay's work are associated with Marina Abramović, this exhibition shows many never seen before works, showcasing Ulay's diverse and striking oeuvre. A pioneer of polaroid photography, performance and experimental art, ULAY WAS HERE, showcases the artist's extraordinary work his unrelenting commitment to continually pushing the boundaries of what was conceptualized as art.
