Click the link in my bio @flavorgod ✅www.flavorgod.com - Ingredients: Turkey - 14lb. - 18lb. 🍗1 -Onion ( quartered) 🍗1 -Orange (quartered and peel on, organic) 🍗1 -stick of unsalted butter 🍗2 tbs - #flavorgod seasoning 🍗Sea salt- for outside skin - Directions: 1.Defrost turkey. 2.Brine turkey. (Brine recipe reposted soon). 3.DRY THE OUTSIDE OF SKIN, NOT THE INSIDE To get deliciously crispy browned skin on your turkey you need to dry the outside of it thoroughly. Once your turkey comes out of the brine, give it a quick rinse with water and place it onto your roasting pan. Grab a wad of paper towels and thoroughly pat dry (DRY!!) Lightly salt the outside of the skin. 4. Place 1 whole onion (quartered) and 1 orange (quartered and peel left on) into cavity of turkey. 5. SPREAD BUTTER UNDER THE SKIN. For a great color and overall amazing flavor use butter. Mix softened butter with my #flavorgod seasoning ( this is called compound butter) which is one stick of butter with 2 tbs of flavorgod seasoning. Spread under all parts of the skin. Any leftover compound butter should be rubbed on the outside of turkey. 6.Truss the turkey. With butcher's twine, tie legs together and tuck wings in to promote even cooking. Place turkey on a rack over a roasting pan.  7. Cover turkey with aluminum foil, loosely. 8. Roast turkey at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes per pound. My turkey was in the oven for 6 hours. It was worth every mintute !! ♨️Use a digital instant read thermometer and ensure that the internal temperature in the thickest part of turkey is 165*F. ♨️Let the turkey rest for a minimum of 30 minutes prior to carving to allow juices to redistribute prior to carving.
