Sometimes on days when I'm feeling a bit off or a just a bit blah I try to take a little extra time on my makeup or put on an outfit I love. Something about looking put together tricks my brain into thinking I am in fact put together even when I'm anything but. I used to feel bummed about this, like I was being overly vain or too focused on my appearance but in reality it is as simple as mood follows action.
