Otherwise we’d still be saying “All men were created equal” and nobody except wealthy white men would be able to vote. # So people getting upset that I’m not “giving Biden a chance” or worshipping him because he’s not a fascist really need to take a hard look in the mirror. My allegiance is to the people and my solidarity is with the most marginalized that the United States has ALWAYS oppressed. Trump did not create white supremacy, he only stoked it. But y’all want to get comfy and relax while the CONDITIONS that allowed Trump to get elected in the first place are still present. Undoing THAT is the work. And if white people on the left don’t get that, then we are going to keep repeating the same thing over and over.
