55 years ago this week, Beach Boys’s Party! was released. Capitol Records wanted an album for the Holiday season, but Brian was working on Pet Sounds, so the boys decided on a party theme album. Their tenth studio album and third in 1965, it featured some of the boys favorite songs from The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Everly Brothers, and others. The big hit was their version of the Regents’ “Barbara Ann.” What’s your favorite track?
