Constantin Brâncuși, who is in my mind one of the greatest sculptors ever, lived and worked in Paris in the first half of the last century. He and the artist Man Ray struck up a deep friendship and Man Ray taught Brâncuși photography.
Here is one of his pictures. Like his sculptures, his images ( and there are only around 500 actual prints in the whole world ! ) are breath taking as they come from the same eye, heart and the same soul .
Albion Barn / @albion_barn in Oxfordshire are having an exhibition of his photographs and the incredible vases by wonderful Kenyan born British potter Dame Magdalene Odundo.
That’s a lot of heaven in one place !!!
Just worth noting that Brâncuși walked to Paris all the way from his native Romania !
