In the multiple elections we are called, we vote the people that will represent us. They will be our voices in the local, state & national level. As you might know, I was born in Colombia. A beautiful, diverse and inspiring country with the warmest people on earth. When I was a kid my country was facing a lot of challenges and I always looked upon the United States. A country that, in my young and inexperienced eyes, was the paradigm of freedom and democracy. A country that was a land full of opportunities. That’s why I always remember, full of pride, the day I became an American citizen. Now more than ever we need to defend the values that define the word “democracy" and, the peaceful transition of powers. We need our leaders to come together and help us overcome all the challenges we are all facing regardless of who we voted such as the coronavirus pandemic with its wide-range of consequences stemming from it (health, economy, social, cultural…) immigration reform, climate change,… Last but not least, I want to congratulate @KamalaHarris for making history.
