アリシア・ウィットさんのインスタグラム写真 - (アリシア・ウィットInstagram)「wishing you all light and positivity as we begin this week, friends. grateful for the right we have in this country to make our voices heard with our #vote tomorrow, and i am praying above all for peace, decency and mutual love and respect among our fellow Americans❤️ i cast my ballot early several weeks ago - and so here i am in my most peaceful of places: harvesting! these are from yesterday. we had our second frost of the season last night in nashville, so the remaining sweet potatoes had to come up. up they came, and how gorgeous and bountiful they are (albeit a little funny looking, some of em 🤪)! they’re now ‘curing’ in their nook beneath the big green egg. (curing has to happen in a warm and a humid environment, so the sweet potatoes develop their sugars and also their protective skin on the outside, so they will be able to be stored unrefrigerated in a cool place for weeks, like supermarket bought ones.) i’m hoping i take these out at just the perfect time and this turns out to be a bumper crop of beautifully cured ones! what do you think, fellow amateur farmers? #homegrownsweetpotatoes #sweetpotatoes #backyardgarden #nashvillegardening」11月3日 3時03分
