Much has changed over the last year and there is a lot which worries many. But we have also learned to take care of each other and planet earth better and each day there are new ways to do so. There are a few things which are bringing me hope and makes me excited. One of them is THE FUTURE OF FABRICS! 💚Specially the incredible innovations which have been made with fabric from waste! Like yarns from #OceanWaste and landfill like @econylbrand creates (which is also a circular bussines too) or from #FoodWaste like fiber from #BananaWaste like this outfit from @milonicki which I love and have been wearing the whole summer. You may know #PINATEX leader, which is made from pineapple leaves, these stunning @_shopnayla shoes & the @thehfscollective bag is made out of as well. Todays technology allows us to spin apple and orange peels, banana skins, pineapple leaves, sugarcane bark, mushrooms and even milk into thread, which means that less food crop waste will be burned or left to rot, releasing methane gas and carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
