To celebrate its new vintage, La Grande Dame 2012, @VeuveClicquot has collaborated with renowned artist Yayoi Kusama to create vibrant floral sculpture titled ‘My Heat that Blooms in the Darkness of the Night’.
The vibrant piece, made in resin and metal with cellulose paint and clear lacquer, is designed to clamber over the magnum bottle, blooming with pink, red, yellow, orange, blue and black flowers and finished with her signature polka dots.
The champagne itself is described as being a tribute to Madame Clicquot and is made mainly from grapes from historical Grands Crus vineyards, among the most prestigious in Champagne. Kusama has also created a limited-edition box and label for each bottle, featuring her signature polka dots against the instantly recognisable Veuve Clicquot yellow-orange background.
