Fried eggs and toast, with handmade soy sauce from our weekend visit to Anchang 安昌 a suburb town of Shaoxing. We got to go behind the scenes at 仁昌 Renchang to see how they’ve been making soy sauce for 11 generations. The little cakes are made of rice, filled with red bean and flavoured with osmanthus with the left saying 安 and the right saying 昌 the name of the town.
