“The ice cave photograph was made for my book Footprint: Our Landscape in Flux. I wanted to show the impact of climate change whereby glaciers were thinning and collapsing from underneath, as well as retreating. It was shot on a 5x4 Ebony large-format camera under the Gurgler Glacier, in the Austrian Alps.”
