I’ve had to do most of series 8 on zoom due to the restrictions around travel and meeting in groups but this felt like a conversation that needed to be face to face. In this episode Phillip talks fondly of his love of tv and radio growing up and how he manifested his dreams into reality. He discusses painful mental loops that he experiences when trying to get to sleep as his brain overthinks and goes round in circles. He tenderly talks of the moment a shop keeper asked if he was O.K the day after he came out. And giggles through the surprise reaction his own mother had at his news.
