Some of the animals aren’t friendly and don’t make for good “IG content”, some of the days are filled with endless tears and poop, night-time vet visits or 3am drives out to the middle of nowhere only to find out your rescues were too sick to make it on the truck, crippling vet bills and beyond. It’s constant heartbreak, but you do it because you are committed, and because your heart doesn’t know how to not do it. And this woman here does it all. Plus she makes herself available to help other rescues in need. And I love her for it. She too needs support and sometimes people who don’t like advocating for themselves need others to write them a surprise love note so here we go :)❤️ This one right here picks up the phone for any animal or rescue that needs help day or night in addition to running her own rescue! And it makes my heart melt. She spreads herself and her own resources thin because the animals always come first. Before fundraising, before taking credit, its the animals. I’ve seen it firsthand many times and I just want to say I am amazed by your heart, and I promise it will all be returned to you. From sick horses to alpacas who have been left to burn in fires, to pregnant donkeys to homeless ducks to goats in need of surgeries, to parakeets left on the side of the road to puppies that need a foster, I’ve seen her give her whole heart, her time and her resources to help the greater cause including lending a hand to other non-profits who need assistance and she’s a rockstar. PLUS she is a Mama on top of it all. She isn’t good at bragging about herself (thank gawd), so I’m doing it here for her.
