But, nevertheless, we did it.. and in the process may have learned to appreciate this landscape a little more than before. Connecting two National Parks via alpine mtn passes, rushing rivers & fertile meadows has always been a dream of mine since hearing about my friend Erik Nohlin’s legendary Sierra crossing years ago. Essentially taking the concept of human powered expedition to a new level. Riding as far as the road will take you, then strapping the bike to your back until you connect to the next road. Also respecting the rules of not riding in National Parks. In this case it was 27,000ft + of climbing over gravel, dirt, tarmac & hiking in 170+ Miles. Grateful to have spend the last week off the grid with my personal hero @laelwilcox & mentor @hellhommus while @rugilekaladyte shot photos.
