Having spent time in the middle east—where people like Walker think all the terrorists come from—with people who are more desperately in need than is describable, and who despite their excruciating hardships have not taken up terrorist action or ideology but rather have faced their deprivation with grace and courage (and well-deserved but non-violent anger, frustration or boredom), I can state that this is a revolting example of vile, casual racism dressed in the motley of progressivism. It is a despicable mindset, made more additionally egregious by its nauseating classism and complete lack of understanding about how many people are effected by the economic disparity in this country.
