As digital PFW comes to a close, we caught up with @pacorabanne creative director @juliendossena and stylist @marieameliesauve to discuss how the pair work together and the inspiration behind the label’s SS21 collection. ‘The way we work together is quite organic,’ says Dossena of the duo. ‘It’s a conversation. I want to express something, so it’s how we define it together by talking and understanding each other and precising and detailing until it matches the direct vision that we get for the collection.’ From watching documentaries, to spending hours in the studio together, the duo also discuss the models-turned-muses for the new season collection. Hosting an intimate, gallery-like show that felt like an installation, the collection featured the label’s iconic chainmail in new forms, after the duo dived into the archives for inspiration.
