Roberto Peregalli and Laura Sartori Rimini worked their magic on a classic Milanese home in the city's historic center. The duo compare their method to cooking; a balance of rigor and innovation that depends on carefully selected ingredients and extreme technical competence. But there is no recipe. “Every room is a new invention,” she says. In the kitchen, the walls are covered in antique majolica tiles, the flooring is cement tiles, and the cabinetry, vent hood, and ceiling fixture are all custom.
