Based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, it consists of a free school for 370 girls that provides a holistic education, including coding, music, art and physical education. We also have a community center educating over 5000 youth and adults, alongside agriculture and the 20 wells we built and refurbished. Founded in 2007, Malaika is a community-driven ecosystem that can be duplicated in any context. I want to use this platform to lift up the incredible girls I work with in the DRC.
