The first time my friend Sarah showed me a photo of this place I was shocked that it was in Georgia 🇬🇪.⁣ .⁣ 🕌Mostly because it looks like so many places I've seen in the Middle East. It looks straight out of another world.⁣ .⁣ Sarah and I stayed at the hotel inside the fortress a few years ago. It's humble, but the perfect location to wake up and explore the entire grounds at sunrise.⁣ .⁣ There's a museum, restaurants and multiple historic buildings tucked all over the complex.⁣ .⁣ 🏰Of course, this was another stop I've been wanting to show you (I never even published these photos until now).⁣ ⁣ It just didn't really fit the vibe of my original adventure that takes you across the western half of Georgia.⁣ ⁣ So what to do?
