Orangutans are not afraid or wary of water. Here orangutan orphan Valentino who has somehow acquired a sack plays in the peat swamp at OFI’s Care Centre nursery forest in Borneo where orphans are trained and acclimated to life in the wild. Valentino is having so much fun! The swamps are full of water. The rain has been constant during this “dry season” unlike 2019 when massive wild fires burned. Let’s pray the rain continues and we see no fires this year.
