Describe your spring/summer 2021 collection in five words? ‘Therapeutic, Cathartic, Emotive, Powerful, Strong.’ How did working on this collection differ to other seasons? ‘This season was a very unusual experience designing the collection and preparing for the show. As a result of lockdown, we created the entire collection remotely, coming together in the final couple of weeks to make the show a reality. The process of designing during the lockdown gave me the opportunity to really stop and think about where ART SCHOOL is going and how it can evolve in this new normal we find ourselves in.’ Looking forward, post-COVID 19, what change would you like to see in the fashion industry? ‘I would love to see a more fluid, accepting industry that slows down the pace of its schedule and focuses on the messages behind the brands.
