In South Sudan, it’s challenging for people living with disabilities to have access to wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices, so In this partnership, we will begin to deliver and tailor-fit the assistive devices to the recipients, including children.
In doing so, we hope to educate families and communities and create a new culture of respect and appreciation for the beautiful talents and capabilities that those living with disabilities have. While giving out these wheelchair, the South Sudan basketball federation @ssbfed plans told hold the first national tournament ever in South Sudan that will see over 500 kids from across the country come together for the first time in history.
We would like to thank @Chicago Bulls and @DukeMBB for donating merchandise for this amazing tournament to take place hopefully.
