Youtuber me thought: “once I get this studio light, I’ll be able to start making this”, “I need this kind of camera and then I can make that”, “Once I hit this number that means I made it”, “___ said my skin is horrible, so I should wait until it’s good then I can do makeup tutorials”. I had to wait for this and then I could do that, and then everything would be good. I was continually searching for happiness in the things I didn’t have (items, specific skills, validation from others). If you depend on other people or things to get that feeling you’ll be waiting around.. sometimes forever because it will never be enough. The moment I realized that *I* was responsible for my own happiness and self worth, as well as how important it is to appreciate where I am on my own unique journey without comparison (which is just the right place and is more than enough) was the moment life started getting good.」9月12日 10時06分
